Why ABC

Built around the patient, not the paperwork.

A hospital feels different when the person at the reception desk, the technician in the lab and the consultant in the OPD are all looking at the same file. That is the way ABC is set up — a single record, one campus, and departments that talk to each other on the same day, not the next week.

The four specialities sit floors apart, not cities apart. A child seen in pediatrics can have an echo done by cardiology the same morning; an orthopedic patient with a cardiac history is reviewed before surgery, not after.

  1. 01

    One record, every department

Reports, prescriptions and imaging stay in a single file any of our consultants can open during your visit.

  2. 02

    Diagnostics on the same campus

Blood work, imaging and cardiac tests are done in-house, so most routine reports come back the same day.

  3. 03

    Cover that does not close

Casualty, ambulance, intensive care and operating theatres are staffed around the clock, every day of the year.

  4. 04

    A written estimate before admission

Planned procedures start with a costed estimate and an insurance or TPA check — no surprises at discharge.

“The measure of a hospital is not the equipment in it. It is whether a worried family leaves understanding exactly what happens next.”

Consultants are attached to a department, not rotated between branches — so follow-up visits stay with the doctor who started your treatment.

Infrastructure

Everything the treatment
needs, on one campus.

Theatres, intensive care, imaging, laboratory and pharmacy sit in the same building — which is why a scan ordered at 10 in the morning is usually reported the same day.

  • Critical careICU, HDU and NICU beds with central monitoring
  • ImagingX-ray, ultrasound, CT and MRI on site
  • LaboratoryPathology and biochemistry, same-day routine reports
  • PharmacyIn-house and open round the clock
Emergency & trauma

When it cannot wait, we are already open.

Casualty, ambulance, imaging, laboratory and operating theatres run every hour of every day — including the nights, Sundays and festival days when most clinics are shut.

What to do while help is on the way

  1. Call the casualty line and stay on it. Give the location and what happened — an ambulance is dispatched while you are still speaking.
  2. Do not move anyone with a suspected neck or spine injury unless they are in immediate danger where they lie.
  3. For chest pain or stroke signs — face droop, arm weakness, slurred speech — note the time symptoms started. Treatment choices depend on it.
  4. Carry any current medicines, prescriptions or old reports if they are within reach. Assessment begins first; registration is completed alongside.
Patient experience

I came in at two in the morning with chest pain. Someone was waiting at the door with a wheelchair, and the cardiologist had my ECG in his hand before my wife had finished parking.

R. Sharma, 58Angioplasty · Cardiology

My son's fever would not break for four days. They admitted him, explained every test before doing it, and sent us home with a written plan instead of a pile of receipts.

P. Nair, 34Paediatric admission · Pediatrics

Six weeks after the knee replacement I walked into the follow-up on my own. The physiotherapy team called every single week until I could.

Help deskGround floor, near registration — 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM

  • General wards — 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM and 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
  • Intensive care — 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM, one attendant at a time
  • Paediatric ward — one parent may stay overnight
  • Children under 12 are not permitted in ICU or post-operative areas

Planned admissions are registered at the front desk with a photo ID, the admission advice from your consultant, and insurance details if you are claiming cashless. You will receive a written estimate for the procedure before admission is completed.

  • Carry a government photo ID for the patient and the primary attendant
  • Discharge summaries are handed over with medicines and follow-up instructions
  • Allow around two hours for billing and pharmacy settlement on discharge day

The insurance desk handles pre-authorisation for cashless treatment and helps with reimbursement paperwork. [Replace this paragraph with the hospital's actual empanelment list and government scheme participation.]

  • Bring your policy card or e-card and the patient's photo ID
  • Pre-authorisation for planned procedures usually needs 24–48 hours
  • Emergency admissions are treated first; paperwork follows

  • Previous prescriptions and the medicines you are currently taking
  • Earlier reports — blood work, X-rays, scans — including the films
  • Referral letter, if another doctor sent you
  • For children: the immunisation card and growth record

Reporting 15 minutes before your slot gives the desk time to register you without eating into consultation time.

Routine laboratory reports are usually ready the same day and can be collected from the diagnostics desk or emailed to the number registered with us. Imaging reports follow the radiologist's review.

  • Records are released to the patient or a registered attendant with ID
  • Older records can be requested from medical records at the help desk
